Building I in Setúbal

Complete rehabilitation of a building located in Setúbal’s historical centre, presently in a bad conservation status.

The existing building, located at a narrow and long plot between two parallel streets, one of which an important avenue that incircles the historical centre, had suffered multiple interventions and extensions that severely harmed its aesthetic and integrity, and has nowadays a profoundly negative urban presence.

The building has retail spaces in its ground floor and residential use in the upper floors.

The proposal creates a new facade for the avenue, restoring the dignity to the property, while updates the apartments, providing them with good living conditions and adaptation to the demands of the modern dwelling, preserving a classic atmosphere.
