House I in Sintra
Sintra
The house is located on a large plot of land in the floodplain of Sintra and has two floors, open to the garden and the surrounding landscape. From there one can enjoy interesting views to the Sintra range in the south, namely to the Pena Palace.
A large double-height room is the central element of the house, its focal point and main ordering element.
The raised upper floor defines a covered outdoor area for car parking.
